Our trip was a mix of great passengers and good fishing for Yellowtail and Dorado plus a few Wahoo and Tuna. The Big Tuna turned out to bigger than we thought
at 274.4 lbs for Mike Gregg. We had some weather this trip that slowed down our fishing for
a couple of days but, being an optimist, I believe it may have finally woken up Cowtown. The signs have improved since we were there and I'm looking
forward to another try on our trip leaving Wednesday. We still have few spots left.
Cowtown here we come!
Mike Gregg is still recovering from his 274.4-lb first-place cow. Riggs Smith came in second with a 106.2 YFT, and Charles Koehler brought in the third place with a 91.8 YFT.

second place with a 58.8-pound YFT, and Francisco Gamboa brought home 3rd place
with a 36.8-lber.

We had a great group and managed to enjoy fair to excellent weather almost every day.
Good fishing for Wahoo and Dorado. Everybody got in on the Wahoo and pretty much caught and released all the Dodos anyone could want. We also had lots of
action with school size Tuna and Yellowtail for a couple of days. Limits of fun, good times,
great meals, and fish was had by all.
Dan Cash won first place with a 48.8-pound Wahoo, Art Fern came in
second place with a 38-pound Wahoo, and Susan Mercer brought home 3rd place
with a 36.6-lber. Also pictured is Kimber Reed with her prize catch. And, Ryan and his
magic Dodo act!

Debbie got best angler with the largest YFT (116 lbs) and largest Wahoo (70 lbs). Thanks to all the San Diego Anglers for a fantastic trip.

Captain Gordon Lackey returned from a four-day trip to Guadalupe Island for yellowfin tuna.
