Left port with a nice group of passengers and picked up a beautiful load of bait under a sunny, calm sea. We found some school BFT just a few hours out and we decided to stay the night and see if they would bite in the morning. Daylight brought only a couple of fish so we moved to a different area and found some biting school-size Yellowfin.
We moved again to find a kelp area with lots of beautiful grade Yellowail. All in all, a very good trip.
Jackpots was taken with Yellowtails by Mark Conroy in 1st with a 35.4-lber, Richard Bustos in 2nd with a 25.2 lber. and 3rd place went to Mike Moroz with a 25-lber. Mike also have a very nice Tuna on the troll.
